For 20+ years, Monica Robinson has worked collaboratively with groups in the city to make Harrisonburg a better community for all.  She focuses on ensuring city resources are accessible, affordable, and adequate.  Every citizen should have power, influence, and responsibility to make decisions.  When citizens take action for the benefit of other citizens its called citizen leadership.  Serving on committees with our diverse community members has taught Monica the importance of all voices being at the table.   Monica has the experience, know-how, and zest to work until equitable solutions are achieved. Her work  has added to our thriving community.  We must utilize the expertise of our diverse community members to reach solutions that work for all.
